MusselBound Laminator Description

Automated laminator specifically designed for sheet fed operation to apply MusselBound Peel and stick adhesive powered by Tri-Elastomer Technology™ to the back of all type of glass, porcelain, ceramic, and stone tiles or mosaic sheets.

  • Precision roll opening adjustment assures flat (no wrinkle, no bubble) finish
    • Second adhesive unwind station - another MusselBound roll, staged and ready-to-go.
    • Rewind station - to remove and store the release liner.
    • Airbrakes for both MusselBound unwind stations - allowing for precise unwind tension control.
    • Variable speed control - 4 to 45 fpm (1.2 -13.7 mpm).
    • Air safety cylinders - automatically opening the nip station when an Emergency stop is activated.
    • Powered In-feed Conveyor - flat belt x 60" (152 cm) long with edge guide.
    • Powered Out-feed Conveyor - flat belt x 45" (114 cm) long
    • Pneumatically controlled dual air knife cutting system, separating each Tile for accumulating and stacking.
    • Follower / Idler roll: for hold-down of Tile during cutting cycle
    • Gravity style accumulator exit conveyor x 72" (183 cm) long.
    • Automated release liner removal and rewind collection.
    • Foot pedal operation is standard with variable speed 4-45 feet per minute (1.2-13.7 mpm).
