Terry Jones, President and Technical Director


Mr. Jones is the founder of MusselBound and has nearly 30 years' experience in new business development and general management in construction products and specialty chemicals and polymers. Before MusselBound, he was Vice President of Chase Specialty Coatings, a manufacturer of tapes, sealants and coatings, primarily for the construction market with a focus on peel & stick technologies. While at Chase, Mr. Jones acquired and developed several new businesses and product lines growing the business significantly and globalizing the 60 year old company. Prior to Chase, Mr. Jones was Managing Director at SI Group, and ran the European operations of this $ 1 billion specialty chemical and polymer manufacturer. He has an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS in Chemistry from Union College.


Mike Walsh, Vice President Sales & Marketing


Mr. Walsh guides the strategic growth of our sales and marketing effort. He brings to MusselBound 20 years of construction products sales & marketing experience and a successful track record of multi-generational product planning. He was formerly Industry Marketing Manager at Grace Construction Products $873 million specialty products manufacturer where he commercialized Bondera™ Tile Mat Set, a then new to the industry peel & stick adhesive product and new method for attaching tile. Before joining Grace, Mr. Walsh was Market Manager at USG (United States Gypsum Company) - where he focused on tile and flooring segment and was responsible for LEVELROCK® poured flooring and sound attenuation underlayments. He also implemented business plans to grow the tile and flooring segment which included the launch of several allied products, a full product line of mortars and mastics marketed under the DUROCK® brand.

He is an active member in several tile industry groups including ASTM 2170 Relative Humidity in Concrete; sub-committee. Mr. Walsh received a BA from the University of Maine and ELP (Executive Leadership Program) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
